Walk On

abused the time when we could talk
too scared to love, so on I walk
not too fast, don’t run
not too slow, don’t crawl on the floor
it’s the questions in your eyes
I’m scared to face so I’m out the door

I’d give you anything if anything means everything in the world
and tomorrow I could borrow all the time and all the patience and control
but time is money and I’m acting funny and everything is dust the wind
my heart’s worn thin, I can’t do it all again no matter how strong your defense

I’ll just walk on
