Currently I am offering custom designs starting at $500.
I’m using WordPress as a back end, but this doesn’t mean that I’m only building blog sites. Why WordPress? Because you can edit your own content whenever you want. This is good. You don’t want to wait around for me to correct some spelling error somewhere, or update your seasonal price changes, or whatever textual changes you might have a need for. If you don’t know how to use WordPress I’ll walk you through it.
Why $500?
Because other designers are charging between $600 and $100,000,
because I put a fair amount of time and energy into each design,
because I’m working freelance and I have no overhead and no one to pay,
because I can’t work without electricity, phone, internet, food, and a home,
and because money motivates me to build websites.
I say starting, because sometimes you want more than just a basic layout. Much more. You may want your website to do backflips and fly to the moon, and that’s fine, but more work for me means more time I spend working on your site means well… it’s simple economics, really.
I specialize in HTML / CSS and Image editing (ala Photoshop).
I know my way around PHP, especially as it pertains to templates and WordPress.
I charge extra for flash.
I charge extra to create an image logo.
I charge extra for custom javascripts that aren’t easily found in the available WordPress plugins.
If you’re on a tight budget and you need something simple and cheap, I’m willing to negotiate.
I’m also willing to barter if you have something I want / need.
