Breaks You

I thought there was more to it, but now I realize the simplicity is what makes it so beautiful. You can still make magic. All you need to do is break your own heart. You see inside the inner workings of your life and you touch the very fabric of your soul because you believe that the world is still a beautiful place, after all the fire, and all the pain, and all the times that nothing was right in the world, and it’s the beauty that breaks you. If it doesn’t hurt it’s meaningless. If you’ve never felt so empty inside, then you never tried to be full.
